K2 Black Panther (Korean: K-2 흑표; Hanja: K-2 黑豹; RR: K-2 Heukpyo) is a South Korean fourth-generation main battle tank (MBT), designed by the Agency for Defense Development and manufactured by Hyundai Rotem.

2020年10月1日 · The whole programme is divided into three phases: development, initial low rate production, and full rate manufacturing. The first phase, expected to take place between 2022 and 2024, is to make it possible to develop the final form of the polonized K2PL Wilk MBT. Three prototypes would follow.

While the original K2 tank was a product of South Korea's Hyundai Rotem, the K2PL integrates modifications that cater to Poland's defense needs. In terms of armament, the K2PL boasts a formidable 120mm smoothbore gun, capable of discharging advanced kinetic energy penetrators and versatile rounds.

2024年5月12日 · Poland is set to produce hundreds of K2PL main battle tanks a year — localized version of the South Korean K2 Black Panther. The ambitious plan is to turn Poland into one of the region's powerhouses of tank manufacture, with a possibility to not just sate the domestic armed forces but sell K2s for export.

2024年6月3日 · Through the K2PL project, we aim to gradually expand our collaboration with Polish defense companies, focusing on tank production and maintenance capabilities, as well as the core technologies for major components.

2025年2月26日 · The K2PL is a proposed licensed version of the South Korean K2 tank, intended to replace Poland's aging PT-91 fleet. The K2PL retains key features of the K2 Black Panther , including the CN08 120 mm gun barrel, autoloader, pulse-doppler radar, and In-arm Suspension Unit (ISU) with six road wheels.

Terminy dostaw pierwszych 180 czołgów K2 zostały zaplanowane w latach 2022-2025, natomiast dostawy 820 czołgów K2PL rozpoczną się w 2026 r. i w tym samym roku zostanie uruchomiona produkcja w Polsce.

K2 Black Panther (Hangul: K2 '흑표'; Hancha: K2 '黒豹') – południowokoreański czołg podstawowy. Wóz jest kolejnym po K1 czołgiem podstawowym koreańskiej armii, który jednak nie tyle zastępuje poprzednika, ile uzupełnia go, zastępując starsze wozy M47 oraz M48.
