2014年10月10日 · I had Kef Celestes in the early 80s, sort of a poor man's 103.2 I suppose. Found a pair recently and still sound great! I wonder if there's a UK equivalent to the speaker upgrade service mentioned here.

KEF 103.2 I've had a pair of these since 1988 or so. I'd listened to some of the KEFs and was very impressed with everything I heard. Though I was very picky about my choice of speakers, I actually picked the 103.2s because the store was having a parking lot blowout sale.

2014年10月5日 · If you read the review on the 103.2s they were not 200.00 they retailed for $900.00. I'm not sure why they mentioned 200.00 speakers. I think because most speakers back then were 200.00 in that size and KEF comes out with the audacity to make a pair selling at almost a grand. Which in todays money is around $2,500.

2025年1月1日 · Got it. I'm referring to the KEF 103.2, the 303 , the 101, and 105.2, all which date from the early 80s. I still have my 103.2, and they sound a lot like my Harbeth 30 overall. I believe the R4 had the uni-q tweeter, which is quiet a departure.
