2016年7月17日 · I would appreciate learning the differences between these iterations of the B300. The SP1071 was loaded in the KEF 105.2's during its 8 year run. I'm unsure how the SP 1196's were employed. I want to know the consequences of replacing the SP1071's in some 105.2's knowing how serious KEF was about creating crossovers way beyond my ken.

2001年11月28日 · This loudspeaker had a contour control for the 1.5khz midrange. The B300 was only used in the KEF105/2 (the B&W 801 counterpart, a 70l/8.5l three-box design), together with a B110B and a T52B. There was also an earlier version called 105.4 (a 40l/8.5l three-box design) with 2 x B200G-SP1075, B110B and T33A.

The low range is equipped with a cone-type woofer B300 with a diaphragm, and the middle range is equipped with a cone-type mid-range B110 with a diaphragm. A dome-shaped tweeter T52 is installed in the high range.

2008年2月5日 · I have located a pair of Kef 105.2 for a friend, but it seems one of the woofers is bad. A shame as the it seems like these are fine sounding speakers. No luck on eBay right now. Any chance of finding another B300 or are they unobtainium? Thanks. Ray
