2006年8月6日 · The HT2B is a very cute piece of design, but even KEF can't defeat the laws of physics. A box with a larger internal volume will naturally go deeper and cleaner for the same power. That the BK has nearly double the volume AND 50% more power tells you all you need to know unless you really need a pretty looking sub and need to spend another £50.

2007年1月4日 · The HTB2 is actually decidely better below 50hz, so all is not lost yet, if you can move it around some. Bear in mind inches can make all the difference. Also, note that if you were to up the gain on the HTB2 so it matches the 2500 at 80hz, you will get entirely a different curve.

2010年10月31日 · Last night the Kef HTB2 subwoofer suddenly stopped operating - the other speakers are fine. The blue power indicator on the top of the sub is no longer on. I have changed fuses in both the power lead and the glass fuse on the base of the subwoofer and although the power lead is 'live' the sub remains dead.

2020年11月30日 · The Kef Kube 2 (different model now) sound better to me than HTB2. I downsized from BK monolith to Monitor Audio AW12. I don't have the measuring tools but was very impressed with performance. Monolith had the edge on lower frequency grunts but AW12 excelled on the higher frequency yet still did good with Lower frequency.

2009年3月24日 · I demoed this package using the HTB2 and B&W 610 and thought the 610 was much better. If money wasn't an issue I would get something different but when you add up the cost of buying the satellites and centre separately and compare it to the package cost (£855 cheapest that I can find) the sub works out to be very cheap.
