2022年3月3日 · Hey guys. I recently purchased Kef q150 bookshelf speakers + SVS SB1000 Pro sub + LoxJie A30 amp. 15'x15' small bedroom. It sounds really good and I'm pretty happy overall, especially with $299 price of Kef speakers I paid. I'm wondering how good those Kef's are compared to some TOTL bookshelves (out of 10) and what I might be missing out on.

2023年4月11日 · The KEF Q250C and Q650C were purpose designed as center channel speakers, so they are sealed designs. The KEF Q150 and Q350 have rear ports. They both come with foam plugs though to seal the port if you need to. The flip side to that, is when you seal the port, you lose some bass extension.

2023年2月21日 · KEF Q150 10-100W is the recommended amperage, so no, the Loxjie is not underpowered for the KEF, and it has excellent quality. Just read the review linked above. It provides very clean power. However, it is a desktop amp, not a room amp. You will need more power to really fill the room than the Loxjie provides at 8 ohms.

2021年6月5日 · The Q150 is popular because it’s a decent speaker, because KEF advertises heavily and effectively, and because it frequently goes on sale for “50% off”—so often that the sale price should really just be considered the normal price at this point… but making people think they’re getting half off is an all-time classic tactic.

I decided to get a pair of the KEF Q150s for my apartment. They’re mostly going to be used for music in my room, and sometimes brought in to the living room for louder music for parties or for watching movies. I am having a trouble deciding on the amp. I do not understand the technical stuff past wattage, so I’m getting paralysis of analysis.

2020年11月9日 · Not according to KEF. As I mentioned in my previous comment: "according to the official KEF website, the Q150 gets down to 51hz and the Q350 gets down to 63hz." That's the -3dB measurement by the way. For a smaller room & given prices, Q150 makes more sense. The difference between them doesn't worth extra $200. I completely agree here.

2023年1月1日 · You’ll get a way better experience pairing those speakers with a stereo receiver or AVR over a smaller Class-D amplifier with less inputs and, therefore, flexibility. For an AVR I would pair the KEF with a 7.1 Yahama Aventage with MusicCast streaming for $200.00-$350.00.

2022年11月23日 · B1+ are more detailed for sure. Emotiva has a little sale right now. Won’t have the bass of the kef but won’t be veiled either. Side note, thank you for being another human with ears that thinks q150s are veiled. And that’s from someone who has lintons as my main system. Q150s are not bright, no clue where that rumor started lol.
