2021年7月14日 · I have repaired a T27 back in the good old days when you could get a genuine KEF part from dealers. The genuine replacement, no longer available, was self adhesive and was placed in place of the original one which needs to be removed. To remove the original one you need to gently pry it out with a sharp blade while gently pulling out the wires.

The magnet is firmly attached. if so, you can peel off the cone carefully using razer. Alcohol can soft the glue between the cone and the plate. By the way, first check the resistance first and see if any anomality before any action.

The commonest problem found is an open circuit T27. In this case the only practical solution is to replace the unit. Although KEF no longer make the unit, Falcon Acoustics can supply new full specification T27s. Or you could take a chance with a secondhand T27 …
