Research Labs
AESL: Advanced Electromagnetics and Sensors Lab. Location: 59-0062. Lab supervisors: Dr. Hussein Attia and Dr. Khurram Qureshi. The lab specializes in designing and implementing electromagnetic structures for radiation and sensing.
Core Research Facilities
Core Research Facilities is tasked with multiple functions including the purchase and distribution of lab chemicals, gases and personal protective equipment for the whole university. We provide research support to academic departments and interdisciplinary research centers at the university.
Research & Teaching Laboratories – CPG - KFUPM
The oil well cementing laboratory at CPG KFUPM is research and teaching lab in which is prepared with all facilities needed by students and researchers for cement slurry preparation, conditioning, and testing.
All Centralized Core Labs - Core Research Facilities
Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FE-SEM) provides ultra-high resolution imaging at low accelerating voltages and small working distances. The JEM-2100F is a multipurpose, 200 kV FE (Field Emission) analytical electron microscope. Nanoindenter is used to determine hardness of materials at loads as small as 0.5 mN.
Labs and Facilities
[KFUPM] Academic Advising, Skills & Leadership, and Learning Support.
Laboratory Technical Support & Services – CPG - KFUPM
LTS&S is organized into five functions including support of educational and research laboratories, digital facilities, streamline laboratory equipment procurement process and develop and deploy operational health safety and environment standards, policies and culture.
Lab Facilities
Provides information about the porosity, surface area, and particle size distribution of powders. It is valuable in powder technology, pharmaceutical formulation, and nanoparticle characterization. Used to evaluate the effectiveness of surface coatings in terms of coverage, adhesion, and surface roughness.
Material Characterization Laboratory - KFUPM
The research activities that are facilitated by the laboratory can be divided into four major areas: porous systems for gas storage and separations, materials for catalysis, polymeric systems, and nanotechnology.
PC Lab - che.kfupm.edu.sa
Our labs are equipped with: ASPEN HYSYS: For process simulation. MATLAB: For numerical computing and data analysis. MATHEMATICA: For symbolic computations and advanced mathematics. Purpose-Built Facilities: More than Just a Computer Room. Each lab features approximately 20 advanced PCs with dual monitors to maximize productivity.
