The Kawasaki Mach I (model designation S1) was a 250 cc (15 cu in) Kawasaki motorcycle made 1972 through 1975. The Mach I was a direct result of the widespread success of the Kawasaki H1 Mach III 500 cc introduced in 1969.

The Kawasaki triples were a range of 250 to 750 cc (15 to 46 cu in) motorcycles made by Kawasaki from 1968 to 1980. The engines were air-cooled, three-cylinder, piston-controlled inlet port two-strokes with two exhaust pipes exiting on the right side of the bike, and one on the left.

In 1976, 250 KH B1 replaces the 250 S1 victim of the oil crisis. The base engine remains the same (3-cylinder 2-stroke), but the power is reduced to 26 hp passage.

2010年11月9日 · On the S1 a bore and stroke of 45mm x 52.3mm provided 249.5cc, the compression ratio was 7.3:1 and with three Mikuni VM22SC carburettors the S1 produced a creditable 23.5kW (32hp) at 8500rpm.
