T elefónica and KKR have reached an agreement to invest in the new InfraCo, a company that will be in charge of operating and deploying fiber optic to the home (FTTH) in Chile. Telefónica Chile will maintain a 40% stake, while KKR will acquire a 60%. InfraCo will offer wholesale access for the FTTH business to all telecom service providers.
