As for other insulation, many companies (not even hunting companies) make better down and synthetic jackets, as long as you subscribe to the "camo is meaningless" philosophy.

This will allow u to use daily or match other items. Warmer weather im a big fan of the brush pants, kutana for even warmer weather.

Mar 29, 2020 · The KUIU Super Down in 15° tips the scale at 1lb 15 oz vs. 2lb 6 oz on the WMB at 15° , 7 oz less. It’s also proportionally smaller in packed size as shown by the photo below. Jan 16, 2021 · Packs are like optics, everybody has an opinion. I have tried several different packs and I settled on the KUIU. My main reason for the KUIU was the apex shoulder straps. I upgraded to the new pro suspension but ended up going back to the apex shoulder straps. I have packed meat in mine and find it to be comfortable with heavy loads.

Feb 2, 2022 · I received the KUIU KENAI Hooded Jacket in September of 2021 and wore it in the mountains of North Idaho from September to late November, both elk and deer hunting. Thankfully for me, my KUIU gear has always fit perfectly for my size. At 5’7″ 160lbs, the large fit as expected giving me enough room for a base layer and a mid-layer if wanted.
