2023年5月6日 · The KV-220 was a powerful heavy tank based on the KV-1 and was well ahead of its time in terms of technical capabilities. However, much like its predecessor, the KV-1, it was plagued by mechanical problems, primarily in the form of the experimental V-2SN engines.

The KV-220 is a premium gift Soviet heavy tank. It was introduced during Update 1.61 "Road to Glory" in the "Operation S.U.M.M.E.R." event of 2016 that lasted from 22 July to 22 August, unlocked after obtaining 36 tanker Marks of Distinction.

2023年5月14日 · KV-220 is nice, but a little bit overglorified. It sits a little bit in the same boat as the jumbo, so its great as Toptier and +0.3 matchup, but will suffer in a +0.7 and +1.0. The issue here is that you dont have access to the 85mm APCR which would be needed to have a fightingchance against the Tiger II (H) frontally.

The KV-220-2 is a Soviet tier 5 premium heavy tank. Development of KV-220 on the basis of the KV heavy tank started in the summer of 1940. A prototype was built on December 5.

2025年1月26日 · The KV-220 has 100mm-thick upper and lower front plates, as well as 100mm-thick side plates on the hull, meaning that when angled properly, the KV-220 is impervious to the Tiger 1's 88mm, the L/42 75mm on the Panthers, and can even bounce shells from the Long 88 found on the Tiger 2's and some other SPGs.
