As you approach, say 10,000 rpm, where most motorcycles taper off, the KX is just getting started. It hits its stride and keeps going right to the rev limiter around 14,000 rpm.

I've been riding my 15 kx450 a lot in the woods and in tight single track. I've been impressed with the bike and have done some basic mods to make it more of a "woods weapon". These include: -high pressure radiator cap. -full coverage skid plate. -radiator cages. -spark arrested muffler. -TM designs slide and guide kit.
