Just got back from the 100th Birthday of Eugene Stoner Event at KAC and IMT and wanted to provide you all with some of the information I was able to acquire so let's get started. KS-1. The KS-1 will be the flagship rifle for KAC going forward. The current line of SR-15 rifles will be phased out and the KS-1 variants will take its place.

I’m trying to replicate the KS1/L403A1 build recently adopted by certain units in the British Army and Royal Marines, hence using the Airsoft Artisan 13” URX rail, as it’s accurate to this build.

2022年11月20日 · Excited about this. I wonder what the difference in barrel weights are of the mod 2 gen vs ks1 gen. I wonder if KAC plans the same barrel treatments for the entire '25 line. Would be nice. Relieved to see the PRT will use the existing muzzle devices.

2023年7月5日 · That’s not a good example as the XM157 was a separate optics contract to begin with, while the NGSW weapon contract were for guns, suppressors and ammo. In these package contracts you don’t mix and match as that can disqualify the contract. The KS1 was submitted with a KAC can, so if it actually won it would likely be issued with the same can.

2023年6月6日 · You’re kinda mixing together a few different programs. The KS-1 doesn’t really play in the same application concept as a 14.5 6.5. If that is a 6 ARC KAC that’s something that could have overlap, and that could be possible given the users pictured.

2023年1月18日 · As many of you know, the KAC KS-1 was submitted to a British contract, most likely their newly formed Ranger Regiment. What people don't know is that there was another tender, much more tightlipped, for a gun that would replace the L119A2s in service there. And apparently, the KAC gun won.
