Kako (カコ / 過去) is a supernatural who controls the past as one of the three Clock Keepers, along with Mirai and Akane. Kako is an old man with a long braided beard (with a bead-like golden ornament near the end), mustache, and slicked-back white hair.

Unlike the other school mysteries, the Clock Keepers consist of three members — Kako, Mirai and Akane. They represent past, present and future. Akane was tricked into forming a contract with the Clock Keepers after falling for a scheme they orchestrated. He is now currently in a 6-year-long contract with them, until his graduation.

Being considered as a whole clock keeper, Kako and Mirai trust him not to do anything bad even in their most vulnerable state. Kako watches over Mirai like a worried father, being happy when she is back and is still pushing Akane to find the answers himself, always in a teaching position.

2022年5月20日 · Clock Keepers are truly powerful alright, however in the light of things, each has a single, very specific power. Kako can bring time backwards, Akane can stop time, and Mirai can speed up time.

Kako watches over Mirai like a worried father, being happy when she is back and is still pushing Akane to find the answers himself, always in a teaching position. Akane is quick to scold Mirai about her actions, clearly seeing her more as a kid than a real supernatural being.

2022年3月15日 · I only recently watched/read the TBHK anime/manga (did both within the span of 4 days lmao) and I have a lot of thoughts that I wanted to share and see what other people thought as well. I think this series is so well written.

Hanako realizes Tsukasa isn't the real one. Kako isn't dead and tries to attack Tsu? Akane stops time and tells Teru to bring Nene back to the student council room. Then Kako and Akane go to fix Mirai in a further part of their boundary.
