Kalihi is a neighborhood of Honolulu on the island of Oʻahu in Hawaiʻi, United States. Split by Likelike Highway (Route 63), it is flanked by Liliha, Chinatown, and Downtown Honolulu to the east and Mapunapuna, Moanalua, and Salt Lake to the west.

“ Great secluded hike.... Good hike...and the waterfall was the best part...worth checking out! Going down to get to the waterfall was a challenge but we'll worth it. Expect to get dirty and bring water. FANTASTIC, perhaps my favorite of the five hikes I did during my vacation; perhaps because it was the most unexpected.

What to expect: Kalihi Ice Ponds is currently closed to the public; There is a guard that will tell you to turn around at the beginning of the hike. There is a fence at the end of Kalihi Street with a service road behind it, this is where the hike begins.
