On March 13, 1982, after years of being separated, we of Kalihi Mauka, the “Kam IV Road Gang,” were finally reunited at a most memorable, emotion filled evening. About thirty years before, we were evicted from Kam IV Road by the State so that it could build the Kalihi Valley Homes, a low-income housing project.
