Mirae Kang (강미래, Kang Mirae) is the female protagonist of the series. She is a freshman from the Chemistry Department of Hankuk University. As a child, Mirae was chubbier than most girls her age, with an equally round face and short brown hair that was cut like a boy's, with a few shorter strands sticking out in random places.
