Kaolinite - Wikipedia
Kaolinite is a soft, earthy, usually white, mineral (dioctahedral phyllosilicate clay), produced by the chemical weathering of aluminium silicate minerals like feldspar. It has a low shrink–swell capacity and a low cation-exchange capacity (1–15 meq/100 g).

Kaolinite: The clay mineral kaolinite information and pictures
The term Kaolinite describes the name of a group of closely-related clay minerals, as well as an individual member mineral of the group. The members of the Kaolinite group all have the same (or similar) chemical formula, and they are Dickite, Kaolinite, Nacrite, Halloysite, and Odinite.
Kaolinite | Al2H4O9Si2 | CID 71300855 - PubChem
Kaolinite is an aluminosilicate mineral with approximate chemical composition H2Al2Si2O8.H2O. Rocks that are rich in kaolinite are known as kaolin or china clay.
Kaolinite - Minerals Education Coalition
Kaolinite is a layered silicate clay mineral which forms from the chemical weathering of feldspar or other aluminum silicate minerals. It is usually white, with occasionally a red color impurity due to iron oxide, or blue or brown from other minerals.
Kaolinite – Virtual Museum of Molecules and Minerals
Kaolinite is a common 1:1 dioctahedral phyllosilicate (clay) mineral found in soils across the world, particularly in highly-weathered environments, as well as scattered monomineralic deposits that are mined for industry.
Kaolinite - an overview | ScienceDirect Topics
Kaolinite, with the ideal formula Al 2 Si 2 O 5 (OH) 4, is the most abundant compound of the kaolin group of minerals, composed of kaolinite, dickite, and nacrite. Kaolinite is considered to be one of the six most abundant minerals in the earth's crust.
