2018年5月27日 · Both the Kar 88 and Get 91 were already being slowly taken out of service before World War One, as the new Mauser 98 pattern carbines introduced in 1909 or 1910 were taking their place. This would change with the outbreak of war, of course, and every one of the 88 pattern carbines in German inventory would be issued out during the Great War.

2009年12月22日 · In 26 years of dealing only had one complete Kar88 and also a very badly Bubbied one in stock and never a Kar91. i dont know about the length of the Karabiner Model 1888 and Gewehr 1891 short carbines, but you could look for one Kar98a. (about 43.3 in.) They are not too hard to find here, quite short for a ww1 gun, and are mauser.
