Katherine A. Schellenbach (born January 5, 1966) is an American musician and television producer. She is the drummer of Luscious Jackson and was a founding drummer of Beastie Boys.

Best known for her band, Luscious Jackson, Kate Schellenbach was also the drummer for the Beastie Boys when they were a hardcore punk outfit. Luscious Jackson, for those unfamiliar, combined elements of hip-hop, jazz, and rock to create a sound all their own, but they disbanded at the end of the 1990’s.

Kate Schellenbach is a musician who was an original member of the Beastie Boys (from 1981 to 1984) and two Beastie Boys side projects, the Young Aborigines and Triple Sly Crew. Schellenbach has been in a number of her own bands as well, the most notable one being Luscious Jackson.
