2013年7月27日 · The KB5 was offered with 2 types of wheels, the 2 piece wheels (outside ring with center as the hub/drum) and a one piece wheel with a large 5 lug patten (way larger then any 1/2 ton pickup), pretty sure both used the same spindle, you just need to find the other hub and drum plus the other wheels.

I have a parts truck KB5 with 17" and I still have the axles and the 17" wheels from one I cut up a few years back. But with the offset in the rims will the wheels clear with the single wheel rear end?

2021年11月7日 · The K5 and KS5 - the S stands for 2 speed axle - and the KB5 and KBS5 had a choice of disc or spider wheels. They were skinny wheels but the Army had special wider ones on some models. The 2 speed was rod operated from a lever in the cab. The only difference between the K and KB (which came out in 1946) was a couple of bits of chrome on the grille.

2014年7月17日 · very original 1948 international kb5 tow truck . car was in storage for around 40 years this truck was in service in the late 1940's till around the 1960's when it went out of service and into storage. this truck is really a great original unmolested vehicle. only 16555 miles on the truck. the engine runs great smooth as silk and has lots of power.

Interests: IH Trucks, especially 6 Speed Specials and demonstrating Grandpas 1934 Jay-bee portable hammermill powered by a Ford Flathead V-8 mounted on a 1939 IH D-35.
