First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Spry has held various command appointments from Commanding Officer of Coastal Patrol Crafts (CPC) namely KDB PEMBURU and KDB PERWIRA, also commanding the Missile Gun Boats (MGB) KDB SETERIA and KDB WASPADA and assumed as Squadron Commander (2003) and RBN Fleet Commander (2016).

The first command appointment was as the Commanding Officer (CO) of KDB PEMBURU, one of the PERWIRA Class, Coastal Patrol Craft (CPC) in 2004. He was later appointed CO KDB PERWIRA in mid-2005 whilst assuming the post of CPC Squadron Commander.

In 2006, he was appointed Commanding Officer of KDB PEMBURU and KDB PERWIRA, serving until 2009. From 2009 to 2011, Captain Sahibul served as Staff Officer Grade 2, Inspectorate RBN, and later became the Head of the Royal Brunei Navy Inspectorate Cell, a position he held from 2014 to 2016.

2011年1月17日 · The Perwira Class inshore Patrol Boats were received in 1974 and 1975. The Singapore-built variant of Malaysian PX class police boats; its wooden hull were armed with 20mm BMARC-Oerlikon B01 AA and two 7.62mm machine guns. These were named as "KDB Perwira", "KDB Penyerang" and "KDB Pemburu".

2021年12月3日 · Kapal Diraja Brunei (KDB) Waspada (P-02) adalah kapal peluru berpandu pertama yang ditauliahkan pada bulan Jun 1977 diikuti dengan KDB Pejuang (P-03) dan seterusnya, KDB Seteria (P-04) ditauliahkan kemudian pada bulan Jun 1978.

These were named as "KDB Perwira", "KDB Penyerang" and "KDB Pemburu". The Sea Batallion also received two unarmed land craft utility vessels named as KDB Damuan and KDB Puni in 1976-1977. In 1971 the Sea Battalion received two Coastal Patrol Crafts who were given the names "KDB Saleha" and "KDB Masna".
