KDM5A - Wikipedia
Lysine-specific demethylase 5A is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the KDM5A gene. [5][6] The protein encoded by this gene is a ubiquitously expressed nuclear protein. It binds directly, with several other proteins, to retinoblastoma protein which regulates cell proliferation. It was formerly known as Retinoblastoma Binding Protein 2 (RBP2).
The emerging role of KDM5A in human cancer - PubMed
2021年2月17日 · Lysine-specific demethylase 5A (KDM5A, also known as JARID1A or RBP2) is a KDM5 Jumonji histone demethylase subfamily member that erases di- and tri-methyl groups from lysine 4 of histone H3. Emerging studies indicate that KDM5A is responsible for driving multiple human diseases, particularly cancers.

Histone demethylase KDM5A is transactivated by the …
Lysine demethylase 5A (KDM5A) is a histone demethylase that removes trimethyl (me3) marks from lysine 4 of histone 3 (H3K4) and serves as a general transcriptional corepressor.
Lysine Demethylase 5A Is Required for MYC-Driven Transcription …
2021年7月1日 · Lysine demethylase 5A (KDM5A) is a negative regulator of histone H3 lysine 4 trimethylation (H3K4me3), a histone mark associated with activate gene transcription. We identify that KDM5A interacts with the P-TEFb complex and cooperates with MYC to control MYC-targeted genes in multiple myeloma cells.
