What exactly are the differences between Cask, Draught, Tap, …
Nov 27, 2012 · The last 4 are all the same. A keg of draft beer, on tap from a refrigerated store room at a place selling beer. Most always with forced CO2. A in house brewery/ brewpub may serve from a lager tank on tap. Cask conditioned beer is one that does not have co2 and is conditioned in cask, ie like bottle conditioned beer.
Keg vs bottle or can. | Community - BeerAdvocate
Dec 11, 2015 · From a Purely business standpoint if I owned a bar at this second, Miller Lt is 39$ a 1/2 keg and a 2$ happy hour pint is a decent deal. If I waste 1/3 of my keg I still make 150$+ on a keg VS Bottles costing me around 0.70$ per bottle and I don't have empty bottles piling up all over. Seems shrewd.

How Long Will A Keg Last Once Tapped? - BeerAdvocate
Aug 26, 2007 · all domestic keg beer, with a few exceptions, should be kept cold. your 13% beer is a bit different, and an exception to most all rules. you can probably let this beer sit in cool storage, a basement, with little ill effect. I wouldn't put any beer at room temp for long term storage and definitely not an average or lighter beer.
Priming in the Keg | Community - BeerAdvocate
Aug 13, 2005 · Once the sediment around the dip-tube is sucked up, the beer clears up and remains clear unless you subsequently disturb the keg. So keep that in mind. I have not tried adding sugar, but on a few occasions I have racked a to a keg for a secondary fermentation and allowed it to "carb up". Drinking the lightly carbonated beer is like drinking ...

Found a Keg, what to do with it? | Community | BeerAdvocate
Oct 5, 2013 · I say half empty because it seems old and certainly not drinkable, as opposed to a half full drinkable keg. I have a tap, and the keg doesn't seem to work, although half the beer seems to have been removed somehow. Not entirely sure if the keg has malfunctioned or if the tap has. Looking for suggestions on who could use the keg. Homebrewers maybe?
