2014年6月1日 · Mr. Walz’s biography lists a selective array of finely detailed interior installations coupled with signature product collections, numerous awards and acclaim by the design press worldwide. The same year Mr. Walz was inducted into the Hall of Fame, 1994 he was the recipient of the American Academy of Rome’s prestigious Rome Prize.

My work has been featured in numerous periodicals, books and is represented in several museums. I am in the Interior Design Hall of Fame and a recipient of the Rome Prize, as well as numerous other design awards. I have taught and lectured throughout my career and am currently teaching in the School of Design at Pratt Institute.

I am an American designer and artist. I have lived my adult life in New York with a 19-year break in Rome. I studied fine arts at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, and the New York Studio School, where I studied under Philip Guston.
