2023年2月10日 · While the term 'key' is used generally to refer to the entire effect of cutting and filling the hole, keys work according to two signals: a key signal and fill signal. The key signal (or alpha channel, same thing) is the signal that cuts the hole. The fill signal is what fills the hole (what you actually see, like a lower third).

A key requires two video sources; the fill signal and the key or cut signal. The fill signal contains a video image which is to be stacked on top of the background, while the key signal is used to select regions of the fill signal to be made transparent.

The Key + Fill outputs will be sent over SDI 1 and SDI 2 (or SDI A / SDI B) respectively. These can then be connected to two spare inputs on an ATEM switcher. From the ATEM switcher control panel keyer settings, these two inputs can be selected as Key and Fill to complete the process.

Key/Fill is a multiple output setup where two windows are launched. The fill window is a full-colour graphical output. This will contain all of your elements as they should look in your production. The key window is a white/black representation of what to show and what to hide.

2017年8月3日 · After some searching, the only info I have found about Key & Fill are for vMix output. We use an external keyer (Ross Xpression) for most of our graphics during studio productions. We would like to properly use this with vMix, but we would require inputting both key and fill sources. Is there a way to do this with vMix?
