2014年3月1日 · This is the primary (chipped) key I have been using all this time. So, I tried my wife's key (another full access black key) which hardly ever gets used. It worked fine. So, I am wondering if the thousands of times I have used the key have just worn it down. I am afraid if I call the dealer, they will of course say I need a new key.

2014年6月11日 · Based on my research, for a 2008 sequoia, there is no way to do it without the Techstream. I bought the one off of Amazon, link below, for a fair price. I'll post again when I get the right key fob and get it programmed. Locksmith guy wanted 40 bucks for the programming.

2011年6月20日 · As far as I know you can't operate the rear glass with a remote fob. At least that's the case on my 08 platinum. You can drop or raise the rear glass by turning the rear door key. Similarly you can vent the front door windows or sun roof, or close everythng from the drivers door key but that's it. Could be a neat feature. Enjoy your new wheels!

2011年7月10日 · This is definitely the right advice. I am in Mexico City on a business trip and my wife called from a camp site on Cape Cod to say she was locked out of our Sienna. The spare key is at home 3 hours' drive away. The house is locked and the door key is on the ring with the car keys which are locked inside the vehicle.

2005年1月25日 · I guess no one reads what these keys are for. The plastic wallet key is not intended ot start the vehicle only to gain entry to the vehicle in the case you lock your keys inside. Mine comes with the engine immobilizer also but still came with the wallet key in the owners manual cover. I guess I need to get it cut or whatever at the dealer.
