Aug 30, 2004 · You don't need a cabinet screwdriver unless the screw you're trying to access is down inside a bore and the regular keystone tip is too wide. A good example of that is the little screw on the side of a 5 gallon propane tank valve.

The other is ment for more torque applications because of the squared shaft and larger neck than tip. You can see the difference in the picture.

Feb 15, 2003 · I've never heard of a "cabinet tip" phillips screwdriver. I thought cabinet and keystone were to two types of slotted screwdriver blade tips? It's just a #2 Phillips tip. Nothing special about the tip. However, it's a righteous tool that does things other long screwdrivers can't.
