2021年7月13日 · The HECU is a 2-3 hour job and the harness is much longer, and most likely, neither the HECU nor harness are commonly stocked parts. IMO verify they have the fuse block and cover in stock prior to assigning an appointment, in that case w/o any other problems you s/b in/out in 30 mins.

2023年1月16日 · I was worried at first, but then I found that my Sportage is subject to the newest HECU fire recall. Thinking that the many lights are related to the bad and corroded HECU and wiring harness, I made an appointment with the Kia dealer and they did the recall today. Bad news is, the recall has had no effect on the warning lights.

2024年10月30日 · Took my 2013 Kia Sportage in for an HECU fuse and anti theft software update recalls. When I got my car back, I didn't have turn signals, rear defrost, high beams, automatic lights and my doors wouldn't lock. Brought it back to the dealership, they've had it for a week now and they're claiming they're "still trying to diagnose it."
