I also just learned the LX FWD is quite a few MPGs better than the AWD variants. Haven’t looked into hybrids ever but with current gas prices especially in CA these hybrids seem like the way to go.

2024年10月3日 · 2. We had an ICE sportage as a rental while our hybrid was in the body shop (for 80 days). The ICE model feels "ok" power-wise in town but is irritating out at highway speeds. The extra power of the hybrid is much appreciated when traveling. The hybrid prob averages 10 mpg better for me in town than the ICE model did.

2023年11月29日 · Picked up my new Sportage Hybrid EX last week, have only driven about 100 miles so far, just around town/county. No highway driving yet. Looks to be about 34.5 mpg so far. And I've only driven in the ECO mode so far.

2022年6月15日 · We picked up our 2023 Kia Sportage Hybrid EX today and on the way home from Colorado Springs to Denver, we got 48 mpg, all highway. It has yet t be seen, if we can keep that up. The dealer neglected to fill up or even add fuel to the vehicle.

2022年10月9日 · I bought 2 SX Sportage Hybrids exactly the same 1 for me and 1 for my daughter. The Sportage Hybrid is a really hard car to tie-down mileage wise. Both myself and my daughter log our fill ups. I know about half the people on this forum think the little mileage computer on the dash is accurate, and sometimes it is, most of the time it is not.

2024年2月1日 · I mean, if you get 40mpg in a RAV but only 35 in a Sportage for example, and gas is $3.15/gal and you're driving 1200 miles/month, that's a monthly difference of $13.50. But the Sportage costs roughly anywhere from $30-40k, while the RAV hybrid is going to be a good $3-4k more than that on average for the same trim level.
