2018年4月9日 · I am having A LOT of static on all major FM radio stations. Kia has replace the antenna base and the cable from the antenna to the radio. It did not work. According to the dealership they cant find anything wrong and will not fix it. I bought it brand new and have had the issue since day one.

2019年6月26日 · While the stereo/satnav is going through its super slow startup + warning about safe driving, the buttons to change station or volume don't work. Sometimes I can tap the 'Agree' button fairly quickly and then get rid of the static sound. Mostly, the button is greyed out for much longer. This makes the high-volume static even more annoying.

2017年8月31日 · I have a 2012 Optima XL and have no complaints. It's been a solid car, it's quick enough for a 4-cyl and gets 30+ mpg with everyday driving. However, a few months ago I noticed that my AM radio reception became woeful; low volume and lots of static. Unless I'm very close to the station I can't really listen to an AM program because it's 90% static.

My 2004 Chevy Colorado and 2003 Chevy Malibu used to create static on our AM vehicle radio, every time the brakes were applied. Then one day we ran into an auto-parts tech that suggested getting rid of the replacement "new-age" brakes bulbs at the rear of the vehicle - replaced those with the original that came on the vehicle in 2003/04.

To me, the best way to describe it is it sounds like static...or white noise. It still makes the sound with the AC/Heat off and it sounds like it's coming from behind the dashboard

2023年5月14日 · Randomly I will get static through my speakers that you can hear even over the road noise. Sometimes my phone is plugged in and using Apple CarPlay and sometimes my phone is not plugged in at all and the radio is off. it boggles my mind that even when I turn on the car and the radio is not on I can still hear static coming through the speakers.
