Aug 21, 2021 · Kiasyd were always very otherworldly in older editions. There was never a Kiasyd who was attractive to the majority of people, and they were by design alien and eccentric. So I think a bane emphasizing their odd looks and disconnect from mortals is a good direction.

Oct 26, 2021 · Does the player specifically want a Kiasyd (a Lasombraic Maeghar), or a Maeghar (fae vampire from any Clan) in general? Since you have to go with homebrew, Maeghar gives you a lot more options. Toreadoric Maeghar for a Sidhe-like concept, Malkavian Maeghar for a fae prankster concept, Nagarajaic Maeghar for a Redcap concept, etc.

Depending on the edition, they were the posterity of a Kindred who experimented on himself and fae Blood, or faes who got Embraced, or some other versions. Either way, they had a Weakness to cold iron — could not hold it or even be near it.
