I let off the gas, and get back on it, and everything seems ok. Is there some sort of power demand kickdown that happens in manual mode?

2021年9月8日 · Speak the DSG’s language — tell it your intention by giving the engine throttle so it queues up the correct gear before you request the shift. It's normal for the DSG to behave like this. Specially on a stock TCU. It gets even worse if you're running an ECU tune. A TCU tune makes the DSG much more enjoyable and just more smoother & faster overall.

2020年5月29日 · The kick down is there there to be used as a quick squirt option. Same as in a manual, going from 6th to 3rd for a quick hard pull. For example, sitting behind slow traffic and there being a gap to your right that you want to fill. Granted it’s much quicker in a DSG but you wouldn’t go from 6th, 5th, 4th and third in a manual to pull out would you.

2022年2月4日 · I drive a 1.5tsi DSG Karoq with e-brake and a 1.5tsi DSG Kodiaq with e-brake and find the Kodiaq the easier to control at slow speeds. It could be that the e-brakes are different but somehow I doubt it. The only real difference is the gearbox - DQ200 vs DQ381. The DQ200 isn't as smooth. The Kodiaq has 235x45x20 tyres, the Karoq 22x40x19.
