Killua wishes he was good enough to deserve Gon. His brightness is too much sometimes. But he wants to live in that glow, even if he's not worthy. Simply put, it's the end of their journey. Killua is gonna go off and protect Alluka/Nanika, and Gon gonna do what Gon's gonna do.

This happens again, during the Chimera Ant arc. Gon lashes out at Killua just because he managed to stay calm during their situation.
