NEW YORK (May 10, 2016) – KIND Healthy Snacks (KIND ®) today announces it has been notified by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) that it can use the term healthy on its packaging as it had before—a reversal of the position the FDA took more than a year ago.

Since 2015, we’ve been on an advocacy journey with the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) to update the regulatory definition of “healthy” to align with current nutrition science and the Dietary Guidelines for Americans.
