2022年11月15日 · Couple OG pics of my 12.5 kino build when I first put it together: Since then I switch to the SL-K stock, added a light, optic, VFG, sling mount, and swapped the A2 for the CTN Warcomp. I am planning to switch the optics and optic mount around this weekend.

2016年4月6日 · Normally I would not have posted this, I have my pride after all, but I wanted to send out a little warning in this area for ANYONE looking at the BCM Kino 12.5" upper receiver group. Initially i was putting together a plan for an SBR build that was going to be shot about 250 rounds a week and was going to be ran suppressed almost exclusively.

For this reason, Kino builds utilize a 12.5” carbine gas barrel, but then have a fixed dummy FSB farther up the barrel at the mid position. This gives you the best of all worlds - optimal dwell time, longest possible sight radius for that barrel length, and a bomb-proof pinned front sight (for those of us who appreciate an oldschool FSB).

2022年6月30日 · 12.5 kino retro build complete! This is awesome. Can’t wait to see what else you do with it. Where’d you pick up the upper receiver from? I’ll be in the market for one soon to build out a Blood Diamond car15, but they seem to be few and far between : ( Fucking peak performance. Love it. Nice mid-length. Put a CAR-15 buttstock and it'll look better.

2022年1月3日 · A kino is a carbine length gas system with a front sight post moved up to where a mid length would be and uses mid length handguards. Increases sight radius and gives you more space on a rail for accessories and better support hand placement.
