2024年5月6日 · Crimson Empire II: Ouch. It’s almost as if the writers forgot why people liked the first one: the Royal Guards are cool. Kir Kanos barely makes an appearance and couldn’t really be even considered the main character until like the fourth issue. The stuff about the Imperial Council is mildly interesting but feels a bit too rushed to really hit.

2022年8月20日 · Kir Kanos is typically depicted as being a mostly standard Red Royal guard with an armored undersuit with black highlights. On the covers of some of the crimson empire comics, they took some artistic liberties and shaded the inside of the cape with black/purple for whatever reason, maybe to make it more visually interesting.

My Kir Kanos broke in the most confusing way possible (pic 3) when I moved his helmet, and I also hated how the robe hid the candy red metallic armor on my carbonized guard, so I repainted the guard and swapped my custom cape over and have a much nicer Kanos now.

The whole Royal Guard training sequence is great, but the moment of self-reflection which turns Vader to violence really struck me.
