The KIS TD is a taildragger; the KIS Super and TR-1 are higher horsepower versions of the KIS with 120 hp and 125 hp respectively. All four of the kits are sold less engine, upholstery, avionics, and paint.

Marketed by Tri-R Technologies of Oxnard, California, it could be completed in tricycle (TR-1) or tailwheel (TD) configuration.
