KONE DT6 is a product specifically designed for KONE maintenance personnel. It's a measuring device collecting ride comfort data of KONE elevators and escalators. My role on this project was lead designer working with other designers, project leader and the supplier. I was also responsible of the mechanical design for the casing.

The Kone DT6 lift performance data analysis tool with push-button operation enables lifts to be monitored remotely and collects standardised data on the ride quality for internal business analysis. The tool is directly connected to a lift and registers even the most minute vibrations and operation noises via three contact points.

The jury of the Red Dot Awards honoured Kone five times: the company's access gate system “Kone Lane” won two prizes. The group received additional awards for the cloud-based people flow solution "Kone Office Flow", the multimedia car "Kone Digital Experience Car" and the escalator solution Kone TravelMaster for their design.
