2020年4月27日 · From what I have read, the CMMG Mutant is a better platform for a Ar-ish pattern that shoots 7.62x39. It is also more expensive. From doing a quick and dirty esitimation I can be into a KS-47 10.5" for a little under $600 and that includes a couple of Magpul mags as well. This will not be a SHTF single go to rifle. I already have that.

2023年11月11日 · The magazines that the KS-47 uses are wider than the magazines for an AR. IF you use an AR upper you had better anticipate that the wider magazines will not fit into the standard AR upper. But, you could pin it in place. Might even be enough aluminum in the upper you could mill out the sides so the magazines would fit.

2019年4月14日 · There's a thread stickied in the PSA industry forum about the KS-47. The TL;DR version is on gen 1, the magazines rubbed the bolt and bolt carrier. It was made worse when you used the magazine to support the gun. If you watch the PSA video showcasing the gen 2, pretty much all of the changes were done to improve something that was wonky in gen 1.

2016年3月24日 · The KS47 upper will work with AR47 lowers and magazines, in addition to the KS 47 lower and AK mags. but nice to finally hear it from you guys (unlike the SHOT reps who claimed you could use "mil spec uppers" on the KS lower).

2024年1月6日 · RE:CMMG MK47 The MK-47 is a mid frame size. It has a bolt head diameter like the ar-10 but the lugs may not be as deep, nor the bolt as long.

2020年12月13日 · Any clarification on better quality bolt assembly group for Gen 2 KS 47 ? I have read of folks using different manufacturer BCG modified for 7.62x39 without a problem. Can anyone with knowledge on that help with 1. Names of company that can make the modification 2. Names of alternative quality enhanced firing pin that will work in KS47 3.

2020年1月24日 · BCA gun is 100.00 cheaper. In past the KS-47 has had better reviews on accuracy and performance out of the box. Know I see Bear Creek AR15. Has some great reviews the last 10 months. I will be be ordering the complete gun , not the upper. Please give me some good advice on which one to buy. Thanks. Marty

2024年10月13日 · I have a similar set up in a rifle version, PSA AR lower with a BCA 7.62x39 upper, and that thing is amazingly accurate with just steel case ammo. So I can only hope this 10.5" KS-47 will perform similar to the BCA upper does. Anyone out there have a KS-47 and willing to share your experience with it?
