On the slopes of Epanomi, a few kilometres from the city of Thessaloniki, a meticulously-tended vineyard surrounds the modern winery, where the renowned Ktima Gerovassiliou wines are produced. Ktima Gerovassiliou has been involved in vine cultivation and winemaking since 1981.

It is here, on the slopes of the Pangeon Mountain range in Kokkinochori, Kavala that they shaped Ktima Biblia Chora, a state-of-the-art winery encircled by its own privately owned, organic vineyard which now stretches over 65 ha. The first vines got planted in a selected vineyard at the foot of Pangeon.
