KTRBN is specifically trained in Crowd and Riot Control (CRC) Operations and provides CRC training to all KFOR units in particular for fire phobia. The KTRBN can be deployed anywhere in the theatre of operations and perform any task or mission for an unlimited period of time, being completely independent.

The Hungarian #KFOR Tactical Reserve Battalion (KTRBN) is directly under KFOR Commander Tactical Control. KTRBN's capabilities includes a wide range of security operations, road control, escorting columns, surveillance, reconnaissance, population aid and other infantry tasks.
