The Fred Krug Brewery was located at 2435 Deer Park Boulevard in Omaha, Nebraska. Founded in 1859, Krug Brewery was the first brewery in the city. [1] Krug was one of the "Big 4" brewers located in Omaha, which also included the Storz, Willow Springs and Metz breweries. [2] Later sold to Falstaff in 1936, the facility closed in 1987.

2020年4月16日 · Impression: This is their signature beer and understandably popular. It’s a classic Franconian lager so it’s well-balanced with an easy drinking malty palate that has just enough hops for a clean and slightly bitter finish which makes it moreish. They always have a few beers on tap but you’ll notice most people drinking this one.

2024年4月15日 · Krug, who is credited with building Kilawukee’s first underground brewer’s vault tunneled into the hill to provide the consistent cool temperatures essential to brewing and storage, died seven years after his brewery produced its first barrel of beer. The bookkeeper, Schlitz, acquired both his brewery and then his widow after Krug died in 1856.
