This paper analyzed the LAI/FPAR uncertainty caused by inherent model uncertainty, input uncertainty (BRF and biome classification), clumping effect, and scale dependency and found that the uncertainties of different algorithm paths vary greatly and the "hotspot" geometry results in greatest retrieval uncertainty.
