2006年7月25日 · For someone on a shoestring budget I could see there still being a market for a slide in KX155 replacement but with all the other radios on the market now I’d have to think a long time about a TKM rather than just starting over. Especially in an aircraft where everything else in the panel is equally as archaic as the KX155.

2019年12月30日 · I live in NC, it is very humid here compared to other locations...I have fixed kx155's in both my planes by a simple treatment caused by corrosion inside the radio on the pins of plug in IC's and display contacts. The kx155 is a great navcom when working properly. The replacement display looks really good...thanks to Wrench978 for info.

2013年3月5日 · As far as the tray and connectors, the kx155 shoulf be a "plug and play" but you will have to add the pins for the G/S, and depending,KX155 or KX155A may need to change the backplate. If you have a 155 without G/S you'll need to add the wiring,from the radio to the indicator, for G/S and an antenna.

2008年7月8日 · The "non A" KX155/165 radios come in two different configurations, one for 14V and one for 28V and there's no (legal) way to convert from one to the other. The wiring difference on the tray is designed so that plugging the wrong voltage model in won't power or harm the radio.
