Kylix 27 is a 8.2 m monohull sailboat designed by Maurice Griffiths and built by G. F. Smeeth/Bure Marine (UK) starting in 1979. (Iron) The theoretical maximum speed that a displacement hull can move efficiently through the water is determined by it's waterline length and displacement.
