2017年1月9日 · If you're on a budget then we recommend a late 5JJ carb engine as they are easy to alter the fueling, and the electrical wiring is very simple. If you want maximum performance then go for the 5PW, you will need to fit a power commander to allow you to richen the fueling.

2006年11月18日 · yep, early carbed r1's were 4xv's the 5 series are most likely the 02 up. SIG' BY THE LEGEND OF MARCAZTLS! There were over 250 modifications to the 2000 model from the original. I shall have to leave it to someone more knowledgeable as to whether the 5JJ frame is exactly the same as the 4XV.

2008年10月2日 · To remove the entire gearbox the only special tool I would advise getting is the proper Yamaha rotor puller. Part number: 90890-01080 It will make your life much, much easier. Thanks for the advice, i will look into getting that tool. I though you hade remove the cylinder head in order to split the block and remove the gear box.
