You don't need to be a Chinese face reading expert or CIA voice analyst to see and hear the deep-seated guilt that permeated LBJ's Presidency during the Viet Nam era. But the question in my mind is which kind of guilt? Was it a life affirming, Leader with Integrity, stare-into-the-truth-mirror-and-come-clean guilt?
