Visitors are now able to tour the Ranch at their own pace in their private vehicle with the ability to stop at sites along the way such as the president's birthplace, Johnson family cemetery, and the president's first school.

The LBJ Ranch District is located roughly 14 miles (23 km) west of Johnson City along the north side of the Pedernales River in Gillespie County. The ranch was the Johnson family retreat during his period of greatest influence, and is the site of the family cemetery.

The LBJ Ranch House is a historic house located in Stonewall, Texas. It was the home of President Lyndon B. Johnson from 1951 until his death in 1973 and it is now owned by the National Park Service.
