2016年5月7日 · For the units I was in, basically the same kit as rifleman - either an LC1 with two ammo pouches or an LBV. Of course infantrymen usually carried more than two ammo pouches. M60 gunners were still expected to have M16 magazines in their ammo pouches, but many gunners stored cigs, skoal or poagie bait in their ammo pouches while in the field.

A now vintage and harder to find item the old Gen II style Load Bearing Vest is also commonly known as the LBV88, ITLBV or TLBV. It is very well-made and constructed of a 7oz Cordura nylon fabric printed in the woodland camouflage pattern. The idea of the LBV is all these pockets; great to use for any outdoor activity with plenty of uses.

2010年7月13日 · I don't remember seeing any desert vests. Well, not in my units. They did make a tan version of the LBE, but it was made by American Body Armor (ABA) and was only issued to Spec Ops types as far as I know.
